Introduction of Different Types of Courts in Thailand
When you decide to take legal action in Thailand, it’s important to know which court will handle your case. In Thailand, the courts of justice are classified into three levels, namely, First Instance courts, Appeal Court and Supreme Court. In addition, First instance courts are categories as general courts, juvenile and family courts, and specialized courts.
當您決定在泰國採取法律途徑時，需知道您的案件將由哪個法院審理。泰國的法院分成三個階級，分別為初審法院、上訴法院和最高法院。另外，初審法院又分為普通法院、少年法院、家庭法院以及專門法院。

Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court 中央智慧財產權和國際貿易法院 |

Tax and Duty Court 稅務法院 |
A specialized court, and also is the Court of First Instance for all tax cases throughout the Kingdom under the Act for the Establishment of the Tax Court and Procedures for Tax Cases B.E. 2528 (1985). 專門處理與稅務有關的案件 |

Municipal Court(Kwaeng Court) 地方法院(克瓦恩法院) |
Handling small cases quickly with minimum formalitiy and expense. For civil claim, the amount does not exceed THB 300,000, and for criminal cases, where the maximum sentence does not exceed 3 years in prison or fine of THB 60,000. 專門以最小組織及花費快速處理小案件。民事案件涉及的金額不超過30萬泰銖、刑事案件最高為判3年刑期或6萬泰銖 |

Juvenile Court 少年法院 |
Deal with any criminal case involving children and juniors, and any civil action involving minors 處理與小孩及青少年有關的刑事案件，以及未成年人的民事案件 |

Family Court 家庭法院 |
Deal with family matters, ex: child custody, marital property 處理家庭案件，例如小孩監護權及婚姻財產 |

Appeal Court 上訴法院 |
Any party who isn't satisfied by decision made from Civil and Criminal Courts and appeals to Appeals Court 任一方如對民事及刑事法院的決定不服可向上訴法院上訴 |

Administrative Court 行政法院 |
The court is composed of two tiers: the administrative courts of first instance, and the Supreme Administrative Court. It handles disputes between administrative agencies of state officials 行政法院有兩個層級，分別為初審行政法院及最高行政法院。專門處理與行政機構及國家官員有關的爭議案件 |

Supreme Court 最高法院 |
Any party who isn't satisfied by decision made from Appeal Court needs to request to appeal to the Supreme Court 任一方如對上訴法院的決定不服，需申請上訴至最高法院 |
