Draft of Life and Non-Life Insurance Acts is passed in Thailand
生命及非生命保險草案已在泰國通過
Thailand’s cabinet approved draft amendments to Life Insurance Act B.E. 2535 (1992) and Non-Life Insurance Act B.E. 2535 (1992) at the end of 2019.
泰國內閣已於去年下旬通過1992年（佛曆2353年）生命保險法以及非生命保險法修改草案。
Following are key changes以下為修法重點:
- Strengthen and enhance the operational and financial stability of insurance companies
強化和提升保險公司經營和財務的穩定性 。
- Revise the formalities business transfer of insurance companies: The transferee of an insurance business is required to notify the insured of the right of objection.
修改保險公司業務移轉程序:保險業務的受讓人必須告知被保險人享有異議的權利。
Introduce new criminal offense related to insurance business:
引進與保險業務有關的刑事犯罪：
- A director, a person of a company finding unlawful benefits or performing unlawful responsibilities.
董事或公司職員被發現從事非法利益或是進行非法行為。
- Providing fake statement to a registrar of officer.
向註冊處官員提供假的證詞。
Regarding Life Insurance Act有關生命保險法:
- Supporting or making a director or important person for company operation to find unlawful benefit or perform unlawful responsibilities.
支援或讓公司董事或是重要職員從事非法利益或是進行非法行為。
- Supporting or making an auditor to stop informing the registrar a believable reason that the company is a fraud.
支援或使審計員無正當理由未通知註冊處有關公司詐欺的事情。
- Supporting or making an actuary to prepare false statement or report on company’s operations.
支援或使精算師準備假的公司營運證詞或報告。
Regarding Non-Life Insurance Act有關非生命保險法:
- Supporting or making director or important staff for company operation to find unlawful benefit or perform unlawful responsibilities.
支援或讓公司董事或是重要職員從事非法利益或是進行非法行為。
- Supporting or making an auditor to stop informing the registrar a believable reason that the company is a fraud.
支援或使審計員無正當理由未通知註冊處有關公司詐欺的事情。
- Supporting or making an actuary to prepare false statement or report on company’s operations.
支援或使精算師準備假的公司營運證詞或報告。
Since the cabinet has approved the draft, it is now passed to Office of the Council of State for consideration.
因內閣已通過草案，現由泰國國務委員會進行審理。
