Social Security in Thailand來泰國創業或就業所需要知道的泰國社保

Social security in Thailand is regulated by Social Security Act B.E. 2533 (1990) and its Amendments B.E. 2537 (1994), B.E.2542 (1999) and B.E. 2558 (2015). The latest amendment came into effect on 20 October2015. Started since April 1, 2002, an enterprise with one or more employees throughout the country must register with and contribute to Social Security Fund. Once registration, employees become “insured person” and enjoy benefits provided under this Act.

泰國社會保險依據1990年（佛曆2533年）社會保險法（之後分別於1994、1999及2015年修訂）建立，最新版本於2015年10月20日生效。自2002年4月1日起，企業於泰國境內有1名或以上員工須向社會保險基金註冊；註冊後員工為受保人並享有社會保險法制定的福利。

The Source of Social Security Fund (SSF) is divided into 3 sections: SSF分成三部分

• Employees  員工
• Employers 雇主
• Government 政府

In addition, SSF provides compensation and benefits for: 以下狀況享有SSF額外福利

• Sickness 生病
• Maternity 懷孕
• Permanent disability 永久殘疾
• Death 死亡
• Dependent welfare 未成年人福利
• Old-age pension 老人年
• Unemployment 失業
• Survivor people倖存者

Furthermore, following persons or entities are not enforced by the Social Security Act:

此外，以下員工或企業不被社會保險法管轄

• Government officials 政府官員
• Employees of foreign government and international organizations受雇於國外政府或國際組織
• Employees working in foreign countries for Thai firms 在泰國企業的國外分部工作
• Teachers at private schools 私校老師
• Students who work for schools, universities and hospitals 在學校及醫院工作的學生
